Do I need to lift the engine in order to remove the oil pan in a 4x4?

I don’t think so, but I know you have to drop the front diff down to gain clearance to remove the oil pan...

Yep, at least that's how it is on my 2018 Sport Standard cab 4x4. Had to loosen bolts and drop the diff. Not horrible, just a pain in the butt.
