My 2013 takes about 0.5-1.0 gallon more than the manuals says to have the level on full mark of dipstick. I like 5-30 redline
I haven't driven much on my 5w-30 redline, but it definitely is quieter on the engine. My 16 rebel runs like a scalded ape! I have lots of mods too though! I live in SE Texas, so that was my choice for the redline. Always had better luck with that weight.7 quarts of 5w30 redline oil is the only oil for the hemi expensive but makes the truck run much smoother/quiet
I have 2 cases of M1 10-30. Anyone run that? I am still on the oil my used 16 came with. I am getting antsy NOT knowing whats in there.
It's not factory oil. The truck had a fresh service from a chevy dealer before I bought it. I just don't know what it is. 20/50 for all I know.Yes my last run was 10w30 and I think that is rlk's oil of choice. Go ahead as long as you are not in freezing temps. That must be some story still having factory oil 3 years later, get it out. Read the oil filter thread in my sig. 0w30 m1 is a great choice if you are in freezing temps.

It's just starting to get real cold here in CT. We will have a below zero streak at some point.
Maybe I better get me some proper oil so I know whats in there.
