Yea, it stings for sure. With down time being a little harder to come across with the baby and I've been getting quite a bit of side jobs locally, I had to find spots to shave some time and effort in the jeep build. Mutilating the doors was one of them. Smaller, less intrusive mids was another. Jeep pillars are much smaller.

The jeep should be delivered Monday. Trying to find a way to receive it and put the drop springs on before the wife knows it came in. Lmao.... So I can just say it came like that.

Lol... After a couple days on jeepgarage, I've seen some sick ass jeeps. It's bitter sweet to have a new project but I'm excited about it. I feel I learned a lot in the ram build that I can carry over to the jeep. I'll post a link when I start

Haha, the plan was to pass this vehicle on to the wife in a year and a half or so then get what I want. Srt-8 jeep jumped high on that list. Guess we'll see how this one treats us

I hear ya man, the srt 8 jeep is a beast. It's one of my top favorites, too.

Lol.... Well I've lowered everything I have owned so she kind of expects it. If she was paying for it, it'd be a different story.

And yes, SRTs are pricey. Hopefully in a couple years I'll be able to scoop a used one for a decent price.

But to my surprise, first thing the wife says when she sees it..." Oh u gotta change those little ass wheels." Don't have to tell me twice. WE agreed, yea, WE, I still think it's a trap but we decided to go with the 20" srt8 replicas. Should look real similar to this after drop and wheels, and red calipers.



So I'm gonna order the wheels tomorrow before she changes her mind. Oh yea, and my neighbor forgot to grab the drop springs before we got home so I got busted. Luckily, it was her first night out drinking since the baby so she wasn't too mad.

Thanks, I stared at the interior for like an hour trying to figure out what route I'm gonna take. Still lost. I gotta give it a little while on stock audio to really get me motivated.
