P00016 and P0000B

12 dodge ram 1500 throwing codes P00016 and P0000B. Just had half the engine replaced 6000 miles ago after getting cam sensor codes and finding more issues ( rocker arm loose due to bad lifter and cam, replaced cam, head gaskets, timing guides, oil pan gasket, water pump) $7k and now same codes and idle is rough.

Took in and dealership said vvt actuator is prob bad (no warranty) and possibly timing off.

Any easier steps to try first before dumping another $3k+ into it. Or things I could ask to be checked that it could be.

If you took it to a dealer stay far far away find a good private shop its probably something stupid someone with a good scan tool should easily be able to tell whats going on by reading live data.

Ya. Took it to a dodge dealership for repairs and then just took it to another dodge dealership in my new state. Ha I'll try a private place, dodge supposedly ran a good scan
