Owner before me did a half-a$$ job of painting the stock chromies black, some of the paint is starting to chip off so I wanna take it all off, any suggestions on quickest way to remove the paint without damaging the chrome finish?
Thanks

Is it actual paint or plasti-dip?

If it's plasti-crap it'll just peel off. If it's just some cheap spray bomb (which it most likely is), soak a rag in Paint Reducer/Thinner or the equivalent, and start scubbing. It'll come right off without damaging the chrome whatsoever. If it's a gun-sprayed on 2K paint, then it's gonna be much tougher to get off without damaging the chrome. I'd try a light application of paint stripper, to soften the paint up some, and then you should be able to scrape and scrub the majority of it off. It's possible the stripper might leave a slight haze on the chrome though, so use it sparingly, if you have to go that route.

Not plasti dip, think it came from your average spray paint can.

If its paint, follow the steps mentioned by LTDMan. I recommend starting off on a low ratio of thinner first, and work your way up to protect the chrome. If the chrome has chipped under the paint, it will be more likely to peel with higher mixed ratios.

I used the laquer thinner before and it didn't hurt the chrome.
