Quick question. Does anyone have a complete parts list for a 5" or 7" lift.. I know there's much more going into a 7". I had someone making one but he got a little busy and wasn't able to finish it. I'm not new to lifting or fabricating as I have lifted and owned SEVERAL jeeps in the past and present.. But I am new to lifting these trucks.
Thanks,
Christopher

For a 5" lift you will need lift springs, lift leafs (dont use blocks), a track bar drop bracket, a pitman arm drop and the appropriate control arms. Long arms are definitely suggested but there really isnt anyone who makes them for these trucks. The only kit ive seen is a Fabtech kit with long uppers and short lowers and it cost over $2k. Im planning a 5" lift in the spring time and thats what Ill be using for my lift. Not sure what you need for a 7" lift but I assume the same pieces but for 7".

Well one of the issues I've ran into is finding full leafs. Only thing I've found is AAL's. I'm waiting on Marc to chime in

I have a RC 5" lift with stacked blocks. If you go that route, just make sure they're torqued right and stay that way. Just don't be going all out and burnin them off or jumping jumps or anything.

Stacked blocks I dont recommend unless its NEVER going to go offroad and it should be babied around while driving. Things aren't safe IMO. AAL's would be a better option. Skyjacker has lift leaves as well I believe. Merc's part list should be all ya need for the lift as well.
