parts needed to upgrade my muffler

Hi I recently just purchased a dodge and now have gotten bit by the hemi bug and am looking to get some sound out of the beast. What size muffler length wise should i be getting to replace my old one and also will I need extra piping to put on with it as well?

Any help on this would be great thanks guys

Well the size depends what sound your looking for or if you have a company preference. Usually the shorter the muffler the louder and deeper the sound.

if you take it to a muffler shop with just about any muffler. they can make it work. i chose to stick with the same muffler body shape and off set for mine. just got a magnaflow installed on mine yesterday.

Will just swapping the muffler and leaving the stock pipes on it change the sound or help with HP at all?
