I have a 2011 Ram 5.7L Been running great and looked after. Parked it at home a month ago the next morning it cranks but won't turn over. I thought fuel pump.

The shop said it was the TIPM. the fuel pump had full pressure. But not getting spark.

They got the truck to run by using these relays they have to bypass the TIPM just for that specific pin. They said the pin in the TIPM broke.

I got a new TIPM and seeing how easy it is to swap, I did it myself. But exact same thing. the starter cranks but doesn't start.

$1500 and a month later, I am no further ahead. With things nowadays, I am pretty desperate any advice and experience is apricated.

Did you have it programmed? Most have to be programmed for the vehicle

If the Tipm was replaced it has to be programmed with the vehicle vin number and has to be configured to the vehicle.

Any word on the fix? I have the same issue, the dealer told me it was the TIPM and quoted $2700 to replace. They said it will jump start so I'm thinking I'll bring it home and try a TIPM replacement myself for about $400. What is the bypass in the relay to get it started? Thank you
