I'm not expecting a whole lot. Eventually I'll get it tuned and tie it all together then will be the most gains

^ Sensible. I'm not trying to start a war, but I think claims of mod gains are exaggerated here. If I bought a product which was so corked up that a simple CAI made 25-30hp I should be ashamed of myself. These are already great trucks we're trying to perfect.

I got the intake and tb installed yesterday. Hard yo tell the gains but makes a mean houl when you stand on the skinny pedal. Goin to try and get the muffler on next week

Tim, did you reset your computer after the install? With the extra air coming in, your computer is probably confused. Try disconnecting your negative battery terminal for 30-45 minutes. Also, make sure the locking tab on the IAT sensor is facing up towards the filter on the Vararam kit. If it isn't facing up, it will throw off the voltage reading and negatively affect your performance.

I would hang onto your stock TB in case you decide to sell the truck down the road. I get calls all the time from guys that got rid of their stock one and are looking for used TB's so that they don't have to trade the truck in with the ported one. As for the intake, there is no market for those. I rarely see anyone get more than $20-$30 for a used factory intake.

I called my muffler guy and he got me squeezed me in Monday before i left for vacation Monday. I drove from Wichita to Tulsa averaging about 75mph and got 18.8mpg average. Made the same trip about a month ago and and averaged mid 16s. The muffler really opened it up and could really tell a difference. Even with with the 24" muffler it still sounds like crap when it drops down to 4cyl But I can deal with it. All together the truck has a large increase in throttle response and noticeable response in power and MPG. As soon as I hear of a tuner with for the 13s with no problems I'll be ordering one

Oh and that's all without resetting the computer never had a chance too but did it last night just haven't drove it yet
