In case anyone installs one. What I found to have turn on for lighting when started/lock/unlock doors. For a 2004 Ram anyways.
Place that installed it had it setup to have headlights come one when started or locking/unlocking doors. Really not want I wanted. Wanted Parking lights on only.
Was wired into white w/LT green stripe wire.
Wired into wire to remote start from headlight switch.
220 Ohm Resistor - activates only parking lights (how I have it now)
330 Ohm Resistor - activates parking/headlights (was how mine was done)
470 Ohm Resistor - activates parking/fog lights
1000 Ohm Resistor - activates parking/headlights/foglights
All 1/4 watt, 5% resistors from Radio Shack that I tried.
