Question/oppinion needed

Would it be better to just have the entire rear window replaced with a solid window? Also, what would one expect to pay either way?

Wouldn't necessarily be better to have it replaced with a solid back glass. Its really a personal preference.
If I had a RC, I'd want a sliding back glass since I rarely use my ac and always have my windows rolled down. But since I've got an extended cab, it would be too much trouble to climb in the back seat to open it

I like my solid backglass better than a slider. I know around here, you can find installers who will install salvaged glass on the cheap...usually less than $150 out the door. Maybe see if you can find someone like that in your area?

oh, we have no shortage of salvage yards around here.

I have crew cab electric slider but if it was not electric definitely solid glass. Slider is nice for topper though.

It really is personal preference. I personally prefer solid rear glass.

I'm about to put a solid on mine and get rid of the slider... I agree that it's a personal preference so if you use it often, keep it but if not then get the solid one

Solid with rear defrost would be better. I like my solid though
