Ok here is the situation. I went to the junk yard and pulled a 5.9 magnum out of a 96 ram 1500 2w. The plan is rebuild from the block up to replace the engine in my 2000 ram 1500 2w. What I need to know is what are my options for a transmission to match up to that engine. My trans is starting to slip.....again and rather than do another filter swap and additive fix I want to replace it along with the engine.
P.S. also im painting the engine up as I rebuild. The block and oil pan are now Mopar blue. Any suggestions on accompanying colors for the brackets, valve covers, and pulleys ?
