Rear Bumper

Does anyone make a REAL rear bumper for our trucks. I backed into the yard light pole and just kissed it ever so gently and put a BIG crease in my rear bumper. If I had done the same thing in my old chevy truck there would be no damage. I would like to find a REAL bumper to replace the OEM made out of beer cans..lol. Anyone got any ideas?

You hit anything in any new truck and its going to mess it up. That's the point of a bumper. To compress and keep the stress off the frame and rest of the truck.

With that being said, ADD makes an OEM shaped rear bumper. I'll have to pull up a link though! What style bumper do you have now?

Okay. Cool! How much ya willing to spend? Because to get a replica bumper I bet it'll get pretty pricy including the paint.

I will recommend boondock rear bumper. I just hit someone with my front bumper and all I had on the bumper was removed the powdercoating...

"kissed" a pole? LOL that dent looks more than a simple kiss.................you're kind of a rough kisser.

i did that in my '08 crew cab z71 and it pushed the bumper into the tailgate had a ripple effect into the bed and popped the paint in the bed above the rear tire. These new trucks just ain't the same as the old ones
