Figured what the heck - Those of us whom have removed this Thermal By-pass block valve should at least keep track of the post temps for other 68RFE owners to witness.
Feel free to prove your temps with pictures of your dash temps!
Mine yesterday - 83*F ambient temp
(Unloaded)
After a 27 mile drive on the highway @ a average speed of 75mph - Transmission temp topped out around 140*F.
Pre delete temps would have been around 168*F easily.
Once back into town temps dropped fast back down to 130*F.
Still to this day - No Leaks!
Chit! I meant to include the 66RFE as well sorry guys!
For that matter any RFE with the OEM Thermal By-Pass.
