I got the idea from this forum and recently did it... it's a real nice place that will cause a hell of a lot less mess. Oil on the bottom of the pan was from my hand not the pan leaking ... real simple and my first time with AN fittings and braided hose.

I’ll get them fixed tonight when I get home. I’m slowly converting all my how-to’s from PB as requested.

I did something similar. I got tired of the drippy mess and I'm not ok with the cast pieces, fittings or hose in the TransDapt kits so I put together my own setup.
You found a better hosting site than PB other than setting up your own domain.? It seems most dont let you link pics at all.
This one has been popular for a while. Plus as a oil cooler.

PMed you. This looks awesome wanted to know what kit it is.
Anyone using one of these setups with the oil cooler?
I do some long haul driving that often had stop and go traffic and anything i can do to keep the engine cool and happy sounds good to me.

I haven't noticed any drop in oil temp since I did this. I'm thinking about adding a cooler to drop the temp some.Has anyone noted the Oil temperature before and after this mod? I'd like to lower mine about 10-15 degrees when towing. Moving the filter away from the engine might lower it some.
That's good to know. I'd like to get that oil temp down, since it hits 260 on occasion. My buddy and I have logged temps with just the remote oil filter, no coolers, and we're both about 10*F lower than the stock filter assembly.
