I had stock running boards on my 11 ram and last week while getting in my truck my driver side running board comes off.i know your probably thinking, fat ass, but it's quiet the opposite I'm 110 lbs! When I looked under it the mount literally ripped out of the rocker panel leaving one big hole instead of a few bolt holes. Now in order to remount them I have to find a welder and time or go with some frame mount boards. I'm hitting a wall trying to find frame mount boards for this truck! I will take any advice ideas and leads on how to fix the issue or where to find reasonably priced frame mounts!

When I was looking I could not find any frame mount steps for a Ram 1500 period.

You are not the first to have your holes rip out on the rocker mounts. I have seen a few people that have welded a thicker plate over the carnage and remounted them.

It is a lousy mounting set up IMO, they should have been reinforced from the factory. I keep checking mine to see if my NFABs are still secure.

White Knuckle Offroad makes a set of frame mounted rock sliders that could likely also act as steps. They look heavy duty, but are a little pricey.
