Dude I just read through 51 pages of your truck. Yes I know I'm late to the party but oh well.
Damn!
I've been eye-ballin your truck for a while but I never read through your build until now. Wow. I've been drooling for the last hour or so.
Few questions for ya. I believe you have the Gas engine and not the Diesel, so I am curious what the sell was for you to get the 2500 and not the 1500? Do you get more towing capacity? I ask because I am probably going to use my company to buy one of those 2500 2013 CNG trucks when they come out soon and I am wanting to be able to tow a little bit more too.
Do you talk to your truck when you take pictures? "Come on baby, strut your stuff!" Haha, j/k
You've totally got me jealous. Now I need to get back out and work on my truck to try to keep up with yours. Keep up the good work!
Haha, thank you for the compliments. It's appreciated.
Yes the truck is the 5.7L Hemi motor. When I went in to buy a truck I was looking to buy a Cummins but after looking and driving a ton of trucks I realized that it would be pointless to buy a Cummins because I literally would never use the truck for what it's capable of. Couldn't justify paying the money in the end for a cummins.
So I started looking at the gas 2500's. I knew the truck that I was going to buy was going to be a 2500. Again I have no need for a 2500 other than just to have it. I don't tow anything or haul anything but yes you have a bigger payload capacity with the 2500 compared to the 1500.
Yes I do talk to my truck, her name is shelby.
But end the end I loved the way the 2500 trucks looked with the bigger beefy front end so I bought the truck just because it was a 2500. But I'll probably never go back to a 1500 again. Love my 2500.
