Screen issues 8.4

Anyone one have this happen? I've had my screen go out twice while driving and then this happened today. After restarting the truck, it came back on



I had 8 Japanese and 2 European vehicles in a row with zero problems so this is kind of disappointing.

I see a lot of people come in the dealership with this problem. The only two fixes I see are either a software update, which usually fixes it, or replacing the unit. Might wanna go to the dealer and see what they say

I would hate to say this but IMO dodge released the 8.4 wayyyyy too early. There have been so many issues on these.

For the update to the latest software has helped 100%

I have the RBZ unit in my 2010 without navigation. That thing is a pain sometimes. Won't play some .mp3's for some reason. Doesn't seem to like most the .jpg images I've tried to put on it. Freezes up and reboots nearly every time I use the remote start on my truck. I build software for a living, so this really gets under my skin a bit. Why release something that has so many bugs. Then, from what I understand, I can't update my RBZ firmware.

I made sure I have the latest software about 3 weeks ago when it came out. Looks like I'll be going to the dealer.

mine would go black, the software update fixed that, but it still freezes once in a while, whatever you press illuminates showing you pressed it but doesn't actually do anything, I just reset and back normal, hold tune and mute in at the same time for about 5 seconds it will reset for those who don't know

I forget, does this reset everything and make me lose all my XM channels?
