2014 RAM 1500 Crew cab 4x4, the message came out in the dash today.
So far i've checked the gray connectors under the seats to make sure they were not loose, i even unpluged/plugged them back. Changed fuses i think #85 and 86 if i remember correctly in the fuse box, don't think i needed to do that but what that heck fuses are cheap. Ligth is till on and stays on.

I haven't unplugged/plugged the yellow connectors under the seat cause i don't know if i'm supposed to do so without causing any issues ?

I hooked up alphaobd and read all faults connected to the occupant restraint module (airbag) and it came up with B0001 and B0002

Just for the record you can unplug the yellow connectors ,all it'll do,is make the dash tell you,you have an issue with the airbags,as soon as you plug them back together, the dash will go back to normal.
Lots of us remove the seats for drag racing.
Ron Silva makes a bypass connector for the cars, that supposedly works on the trucks too, that'll keep the dash happy,if you wanted to permently remove a seat.Similiar to the Challengers that can be ordered as a "seat delete" car. On the Demons and 1320's the passenger seat and rear seat are actual options, that are a $1.00 option if you want them.
If you look at the 1320 Drag Pack options, you can see where the seat deletes are mentioned

I was al ittle scared until i found some videos about removing the front seat. so i disconnected the + battery terminal and unplugged those yellow connectors, sprayed QD contact cleaner and waited like 10 min before i plugged everything back. Service airbag system message is still on :(

I'm trying to see what else can i disconnect/do before having to resort to go to the stealer. I don't think a regular shop can fix issues with with the air bag system? i hate the dealer may want an arm and a leg to fix this chit up.

i've messed with the little grey plugs and yellow plugs under the seats. haven't touched the other 2 grey ones under th drive seat, unplugged, sprayed qd contact cleaner and plugged back, also changed the 2 fuses in the fuse box. Until yesterday i didn't know micro fuses existed :)

I guess it depends on how much you value your live and your passenger's life. Im quite happy and capable to pull wrenches on my own veh but the airbag system is something i will not touch i leave that to the people that are trained to deal with them.

Do a google search. Most posts point to the clockspring. But of course like anything, you might not know for SURE until it's replaced. Sometimes a fault can be caused by multiple things (wiring, item, connector, etc).

I didn’t see it until now. Did you do this yourself? I’ll start making some phone calls to local shops and see how much they charge for the job.
I dont know how mechanically inclined you are but the job is not that hard. Tou can do a youtube search and find a video and youll be fine.

Runing a search in the Mopar online stores this is the part number that i think should be the clock spring: Mopar 68528301AA
Non Mopar:
Standard CSP322 (non heated steering wheel)
Standard CSP323 (heated steering wheel)

Well i got the part yesterday and openened it today, lucky me the damn thing comes with a piece of paper that says, Important do not install, read first
It doesn't come with the angle sensor. before i ask for a return, is this something easy to replace ? in all the videos i looked i don't see anything remotely close to what those tiny pics show as angle sensor and i looked online and this stupid thing is one of those POS where there is nothing out there showing what it is or how to replace.

How does one go about centering a used clock spring? I have the same airbag codes in my 09 SLT, planning on stealing the heated wheel and clockspring out of my 2010 Laramie. Hopefully the 09 has the heated wheel wiring

Are you certain that your truck has a steering angle sensor there? Mine is a 2013, and when I look at the diagrams on MoparPartsGiant, it only shows the clock spring.

And If I remember right, when I replaced my electronic power steering rack/pinion, it had the steering angle sensor built into the steering rack.

Your 2014 should have the EPS as well. So, is it only the 2012 and older with hydraulic power steering, that had a steering angle sensor in the column?
