Spare Wire Connection

I was just putting in a light bar in between the front motion sensors on my 2021 rebel. While i was under the truck i found a spare wire connection that it capped and taped to the frame. Does anyone know what this is for and can i wire the lights to it rather than running wires.

Does your truck have the Active front air dam? If not that looks to be in about the right spot for it.

I think you're right, AAD connector. Here's a pic of that connector when I removed the AAD from my previous truck. I moved it to the rear and taped it to an adjacent wiring harness to keep it up out of the way. No idea if you can use that to power your lights from that though. I'd probably run new wires to be safe.
