Is anyone here by chance running a Spintech muffler on there 4th gen? If so, hows the sound/drone/ect?

I ran a spintech side exit set up on a dakota rt I had and it sounded amazing. I like a loud exhaust but absolutely cannot stand sounding like all the damn rednecks around here. The spintech made the truck sound more like a damn Australian V8 supercar than a truck. I loved it.

YUP its a REALLY deep aggressive sound especially with the hammer down. ZERO drone and ZERO regrets. Truck sounds like a beast with minimal cost/effort and with quality to last a lifetime
If it sounds to good to be true ... its a SPINTECH !!

Thanks. I used ABC muffler off 50st.
Muffler came direct from SpinTech out of California
I had an 18" MF on my last truck and loved that also

Yup thats the one, for a few extra bucks I'd recommend the stainless steel but that of course depends on your roads I guess lol

That sounds awesome! Judging by the dimensions on their site, the Spin Tech is just about the size of a Cherry Bomb Extreme/ FM Super 10 ? Is it straight through?

Loved the Spintech !! If you go full exhaust long tubes y-pipe 2 1/2" tail pipes it will sound like a race car minus the cam lick. With my stall converter it sounded like I was tring to race everyone at stop lights. Swapped mine out with a 22" Maggie. If your just doing a muffler swap Spintech is a excellent choice.

Sounds awesome, I am now leaning towards this muffler. Did you keep the resonators on the truck and just do a muffler swap?

I ordered the 12" 6436 and will be getting it installed in the next day or two, depending when my exhaust guy calls me. I spent a week deciding which one to get, the 9" or 12" but decided on the 12" because I'm old..........lol
