I’ve got a 2012 Dually Ram 3500 , why is there such a long distance between the top overload spring and the bump stop (4.5 in on back of spring ,2.5 in on the front ) before the overload starts to touch ,the truck would be pretty low in the ***. I’ve looked at lots trucks like mine ,same thing , this makes no sense . My brothers chev dually has 3/4 in before overload spring touches, I’ve seen on here where some people have built spacers that slide over the end of the overload spring, it worked great , I dropped my air bags from 75 lbs to 30 and it handled great , but they kept falling out . Anybody got a better idea ??
