Dropped my truck off at a local shop with the headers in the original packaging in the box of my truck.

I get a text from the shop owner. Where are the bolts.

YEAH STAINLESS WORKS WHERE ARE THE DAMN BOLTS???

Now my truck gets to sit on their lift for an entire day while we wait for bolts to be shipped in. I can't be fuc!ed to wait for SW to reply to my email so I ordered a set on my own dime. Not that they are expensive but leaving my truck overnight when I need to car pool an hour out of town for work IS.

If I end up missing work then these headers officially cost me $300++ more than I paid for in the end because of human error when packaging. And in my eyes at the premium these companies charge it is unacceptable.

3000 Stall edge is in though..

If the Pre-Eagle ones are the same I can hook you up with some BBK ones I have spare down stairs (if needed by the weekend) since I only use 6.1 with thread locker and Mopar Gaskets as with that no need for any retorque and leaks don't happen. I do not have enough of the 6.1 type on hand to help you. I am in Suffield and plan to be in the Hat tomorrow night after work. Danny

So the mechanic tore the truck apart before going through the box of parts you brought him? Yes, sw forgot to send bolts, but i blame the mechanic for not making sure all needed parts were present before removing the the manifolds.

Or,

You mean you had parts delivered and didn't inspect them or take inventory of your order before taking it all to a mechanic?

Danny, well done trying to help a fellow hemi owner out. OP, it's your responsibility to check your parts. Unfortunately in many cases there will be items missing or fitment problems. Good luck...

I really appreciate the offer man! Means a lot. Good news is we realized in time yesterday and ordered the bolts we need and the supplier promised they would be in our hands this AM. I have yet to call the shop and see if they arrived but in the last 1.5-2 years this supplier has never once been wrong on timing.

I really do appreciate the love. Next time your in town I will let you take my truck for a rip. I want to experience it from the passenger seat ONCE :favorites13: no more than once though, I have that jealousy trait.

I have done 100% of the work before this point. So usually the mechanic is me. Leave my mechanic alone he fit me in on a moments notice and they are great guys.

Lets be honest mounting hardware is something that shouldn't just be MIA in a $1300 kit. Especially when they STRESS the fact that these come with everything you need and use it as part of their sales pitch. The quality of the product is a serious 10/10. I just hate inconvenience. I'm sure ill forget all about it when I pick my truck up tonight @5PM after work :naughty:

Hahaha actually neither.

I do occasional work through "Trump Auto" they are located right beside the infamous swirls. They do all our summer-winter tires for my entire family and store our winter rims for us. It's really nice because with an Infiniti, 2 Audis, and My Ram the amount of space in our garage for Tire/Rims is 0. All of our vehicles but the Infiniti run different rims and tires for each season and its only a 2 car garage (I've parked outside my entire life and that will not change for a while :( )

But back on topic, Trump Auto is great. Never has tried to ******** me or my family members, we leave over $10,000 in Rims and Tires at his shop with no issues, we trust them to work on our Audi S4 and STaSIS Audi S5, and they have always made time for me when I have a specific time frame.
