swap my 66RFE for a G56....cost?

Yes way to long .. my wife doesn't understand where I get my Patience from but from last I talked to the builder he was waiting on one part to complete assembly then it's just tuning

Has he given any details on the tuning or who he is using for the tune? I was told that to make everything happy, rf hub, pcm, and bcm need to be tuned.

Without going back into the thread (its been too long, i have forgot!), what are you using for a gear selector?

Since the new 2500’s are using a a column lever again with the 8 speed, i was wondering if the original shifter could be utilized.

Yes .. but I think the RF hub is only for trucks with certain options which I don't have.. my truck has a unlocked pcm and is basically a tradesmen. Also a reverse switch has to be wired in from the G56 through a module right behind the e brake .. I'd have to look at my notes again to get into pin #s and all

It's a manual swap. G56 is the manual transmission that came in 05.5 to 08 hemi HD trucks and cummins trucks from 05.5 to 18.

Ok well my g56 swap has officially been kick started. Picked up a 06 hemi g56 and I just need the interior shifter stuff. Have clutch hydraulics, clutch and flywheel and I'm about to tear into this thing here very soon. Once I get the go ahead from the tuner I'm off and running.
