I may not be a modern man, but I do keep about 5% of my brain open to knew things. I been eating that stew for a long time but not til my dentist told me about sous vide did I think to ask why the stew meat is so damn good. Put two and two together, lightbullb moment, awe sous vide how sweet it is. So turkey b you can get stew seasoning mix and cheap stew meat and do it yourself if you cant find that brand. That brand is so dam good though I tell ya when you are sitting next to a bowl of that life is good.

This was mommas secret, now with an iron pan she made the perfect stew every single time, I have not had such luck. I have about 10 bags of this in the pantry on any given day. The meat on occasion is under done or over done, but with sous vide just like momma makes it 100% of the time, if the meat isn't soft when you squeeze the bag 5-10 more minutes. I like pressure cooking as well, but this is like the perfect pressure cooking outcome without the pressure cooker. The perfect comparison is it is a crock pot without the extra 5-8 hours it takes.

And yes many benefits to iron pans or cooking it in a pizza oven inside a Dutch oven, but I don't care who you are there will some some sticking and cleaning involved. My wife is like the perfect person in a lot of ways, but unlike rick's wife she could not bake a cookie never less cook a real meal, she just didn't have the gift and was not raised on American food.

I got lucky,my wife is one hell'va cook and baker Mike :waytogo: My dad used to make the 500 mile round trip (when he was still with us) ,if he knew she was making cookies/bannana muffins etc, my best buddy is one of the local top cops, and if he finds out she's making cookies/muffins etc,the SOB shows up with a company car,and parks his ass at her kitchen table for the afternoon, then i got to explain to my neighbours why a cop car was at my house for the afternoon, aarrgghh, lol

... did you, by chance, give your neighbor(s), ... neighbour(s)where you reside, any cookies or muffins with the added "herb"?

Lol, that may be why you have to explain to your "neighbours" why the Po Po(Sheriff where I reside)pulls up and won't leave?

I ain't messing with the recipe, lol.I used to give out her cookies to the guys at work for X-mas presents instead of bottles of whiskey, they liked them better then the whiskey,as you can buy boose or pot up here on damn near every corner, but they couldn't buy her cookies, lol. My dealer tech buddy lives 2 hours north of me,and he's a young single guy,and if i need something programmed or help with fixing something that's out of my league, all i got to do is offer up cookies and supper, and he'll show up,lol. When i needed the new transmission married to my truck,it cost me about 3 dozen of her cookies and a homemade meal, for him to come down with the dealers gadget to program the transmission right on my driveway.Them cookies of hers have saved me a pile of money over the years, they work better then whiskey, lol

The great barter system of trading the wife's home made cooking and baking for the help of friends and neighbors.

However, the other side of that is The Boss is doing the cooking & baking on her time and in her kitchen for her man and her family to garner favors and help from those friends and neighbors.

So, what's your charge from her...lol ;)
Nothing is free, Brother, not even from the Executive Level of the homestead :)

The difference I am gonna guess is the Tacoma is a horrible seat, honestly I don't even know how people sit it, but the rav 4 pickup if it has rav 4 seats, it will be very popular. Dare I say for my needs, might be worth a look. Of course if they have the cvt it will be a deal breaker.
