The compressor stopped functioning after upgrading the radio from VP2 to VP4.

Please help
After upgrading the radio in my 2016 Dodge Ram, the air conditioner worked for two days, but then the compressor stopped working. Upon inspection, the mechanic informed me that I need to replace the compressor.
My question is: Could the issue be attributed to the air conditioner control panel that I installed?
