I went into the local Ram dealer today to make an appointment for some servicing this Fri a.m. I am having my second syn oil change done (3000 miles on the odo) as we are heading out on a 6000 mile round tripper (from May 1 until May 25th, vacation). While they are performing this task I need them to look at my steering wheel, when I turn off the truck the steering will not lock. Any ideas on that. The second issue would be when I disengage the traction control it would inform me on the 8.4 screen and lately that no longer happens??????

Now on to the part about being done, this Ram dealer has a rather large aftermarket parts department and I noticed a nice set of Rockstar rims on display. The only issue was they were 18x9 and I need 20x9, the service chap phoned his supplier and they do carry the rims I want in 20's, perfect. The best part is the 20's are priced at blowout levels ie: 20's cost the same as the 18's. With the mods I have already performed and the new rims now I can say I am done:word:

Any wheel experts that can suggest a selling price for my minty (not so much as a scratch) 2014 Sport 20x9's, oh Canadian pricing. Thanks:favorites13:

You saved money on the blow out prices for the 20"s but now you get to dish out a lot more for the 20" rubber compared to the 18".

Take some pics and make us jealous.

^^^nope my Sport comes with 20's so I can have them simply swap the tires off the Sports onto the Rockstars.

Oh should i reverse the tires so the white is now hiding, the rims are mostly black to match the black paint. I can assume this would not be an issue right?????

The steering wheels haven't locked in the trucks for a few years now. Can't say I've ever seen any sort of warning on the radio display when esp was turned off.

There is no warning displayed on the radio. It is displayed in the EVIC

^^^^technically. I was informed (service) that these trucks do not lock up when parked which is great as this means mine is not busted lol Have the rims installed, they fixed the traction control issue which now shows on the Evic as opposed to the radio. I forgot one last item in the mod dept and that is 5% tint on the back window and 20% on the doors, well not the doors but you know what I mean. For those that do not I mean the windows that disappear into the doors when fully in the down position.tehehe

Yea, put the white letters on the inside. When I bought my truck part of the deal was the dealership had to tint my front windows to match the rest (factory), take off the RAM 1500 badges, and flip the tires so the white letters weren't on the outside, I personally can't stand white lettering on tires.

I'm willing to almost guarantee tire for tire it won't cost any more, and more likely actually be cheaper. 20" tires are almost standard these days, almost nobody runs stock 18s.
