Hi so I know there's tons of threads about this but they all are different so I don't even know what to try first... So I just installed a Greene racing 2.5 HL V2 thump cam in my 14 ram. For the first 200 miles or more it sounded completely normal. We're still working on getting it tuned up. Today I was topping off the coolant so it was just sitting there idling and suddenly I noticed it was ticking quite a bit. Definitely not exhaust leak ticking... I've had that and know what it sounds like. This is way louder and different. Is it lifter? Just thought it was kinda weird how it appeared a ways after the fact.

Sorry I'm new to this... How do I do that?
No worries. You can't, but I can (and did already)

Not sure if you've noticed, but there are sub-forums organized into RAM generations. Your truck, being a '14 is 4th Generation. Apologies if you knew all that already.

No used brand new hellcat lifters... Used the whole kit from Jay Greene. So I'm assuming the pushrods should all be the right length and everything.

Oh and I forgot to mention... It's coming from the driver's side only.

Lifters are only Hellcat lifters if they are sitting inside a Hellcat engine. Otherwise they are just non-MDS lifters. It's a sales gimmick to charge more for the latest p/n non-MDS lifter. I'm waiting for the "these are Demon lifters", or "these are Hellephant lifters" to start lol.
