Got pocket fender flares and tires are now dead even with them. Looking at adding spacer so they stick out and curious on opinions if y’all think they look better under flares or sticking out an inch or 2?

Don't understand the tires sticking out look. Aside from looking dumb, you throw crap all over the sides of your truck. Inside the fenders or flares for me but to each their own.

Wow. Looks like a lot of people who frequent the forum are "even" folks, myself included. I wonder if we're more straight-laced people in general who go above/beyond to take proper care of our trucks, thus seeing the functional silliness of pushed-out tires. Some interesting psychology there!

Might want to check your local/state laws too. I have had friends that ran their tires wider than their flares. Most of them got tickets for it.

Used to be you bought tires to achieve maybe an inch wider than factory on the outside. Kids and young men in general around my part only one 1-3" to be inside the wheel well. All of them rolling their silly coal. Ruining diesel truck ownership. Oh well. They all head to car wash then over to Kroger parking lot. I roll on by hooked up to 10k letting them hemi sing.

This thread will probably bite me in the ass but, my buddy just picked up my and his wheels we just ordered. I went with +20 offset in order to hopefully keep them under my stock laramie "flares". I'll have them bolted up tomorrow and know for sure lol! I may be in the market for some bigger flares. Mine is the set on the right. 76a42ad3e53dd887dd20c98f31c5f2ee.jpg

I only get the offset i need to run 35's or 37's and not to rub the UCA's and i really don't want to have the wheels tucked in towards the inside like stock or sticking out 4" either :) I have -12 offset on 17x9 wheels. I don't like wheel spacers and my tires don't stick out just for looks, i like how they function and again i'm able to run 35's or 37's on the same setup i have. Tires stick out 1.5" past the fenders.

Even imho, I have 17 x 9 wheels with 0 offset & with 305/70r17 Toyo AT3s. They're even on the back with the flares & stick out a little in the front.20210128_135817.jpg

A very dirty road salt 2500 with stock rims and 35x12.5 18. Even with oem flares and added gatorback flares. I hate below freezing temps. Week and a half in below 32 and about 2 more weeks to go. Crying.

Hey michael harpe, would you have some more pics of your PW you could post? I want to put 37's on my '17 2500 and I'm old school. Tall, but not real wide tires get it done for me. Thanks in advance. RR.
