Towing Hooks advice needed

Hey all,

I am doing a lot of work on my truck and quite frankly, I'm disappointed to see my truck without any front tow hooks. I went to the dealership yesterday and next thing you know, tow hooks are 288x2= 576$. They're not giving them away for free.

My truck: 2016 ram sport

So my questions are the following.

1-Should I buy them through the dealership?
2-Should I do the cutting myself in the front bumper skirt to be able to install the tow hooks or should I buy another one completely?

I feel like you need to ask another dealership... that price seems way too high... hell the 3/4 and 1 ton hooks are like $100 for the set...

Check ebay... I just saw a bunch available for $130 ish. "Ram tow hooks 2014"

You're not going to find factory tow hooks for a 100 bucks. I bought mine off ebay for 130 and bought the bezels for 35 st s dealer. That's for the big horn.the hooks are the same but you may have to cut your inserts out. I don't know if they are available for a sport.If it is buy it.

Yeah that's roughly what I paid too at the dealer. That was a couple of years ago, but 576 is beyond crazy! Unless something changed on the 15/16's they should be the same part #.

The ones on my 16 look exactly the same as the ones i bought for my 13

The Ram sport doesn't have an option for factory tow hooks on the 13 and up trucks because they changed the front bumper but you can install them and bolt them to the factory mounts on the frame. They will come extremely close to the bumper unless you put them right side on the left and left on the right. You will have to trim your bezel yourself because they don't make a tow hook bezel for the sport. I have done this as well as alot of other people and it's not that hard to do if you take your time. Sorry this isn't a very good picture but this is what they look like.
