This is interesting. Mine is a lease, it's a 2016 model, and I am just now getting close to 15k miles on it. The buyout option is $36k. Even though my scat has pretty much ALL the possible options, including the technology package, I think 36k buyout is not in line with the real value in the market.
When it comes to the RAM, I've really set my eyes on the Limited trim, really depending on what kind of deal I can make.

My 2018 Scat was a a base, no options at all. The dealer had 5 of them and they were company demos. Pick your color, all same price and similar mileage. So mine was a $40k sticker vs. yours if loaded it's closer to $50k. I did a lot of looking around at other Scat Packs before buying mine and you can't find any under $30k, even high mileage ones. But based on what I remember, I think $36k is not too far off of what your's would be valued it. It's a little low, but not too bad.

MSRP on mine was 52k. I need to do more research, just want to make sure I don't have any equity that could help me on the negotiation.

Hi, new here blah blah

I'm in a similar situation. I have a 2015 Charger and am looking to trade it in on a new RAM.

I'm stuck between a 2019 Laramie 5.7 or a 2018 Laramie 3.0 diesel. I do mostly highway so the diesel should net better mileage. I just don't want to miss out on the 2019 interior for the better mileage of the 2018.

Is the 2019 that much better than the 18?

Do you plan on towing with it?

No sir, it would be strictly for the mileage benefit. I mean I may tow a small utility trailer here and there but nothing meaningful.

I did test drive a '19 Rebel today and loved it. It wasn't even on my radar until I saw one in the dealer lot. Now I'm stuck on a 19.
It's just a matter of waiting for the diesel or getting the 5.7

Ram did say they will come out with the EcoDiesel later this year but that’s not likely happening. They haven’t made any announcements as of yet. They are still working to get the HD out at the same time. If you can wait, maybe early next year. Unless you need/want to trade in now and get the 18. The 19 Rebel is really nice but it only comes with the 5.7L. I prefer the styling on the 19 over the 18. Better lines and front end in my opinion and the added 4” of cab length for my 3 kids is a plus. The 18 will have less problems then the first run 19. We plan on getting a bigger travel trailer, 6000lbs next year so the 5.7L is a must. MPG right now around town is absolute crap. LOL.

Thanks. The more I look into it, the more the Rebel jumps out me. I'm leaning towards that and I love the rear seat space too. I say I can wait...but I probably won't, lol

Funny you say that. My wife is actually the one who pointed the Rebel out first. I went to the lot to look at a Laramie, ended up test driving the Rebel!

And unlike the original poster, I don't have a Scat Pack Charger. Just the police pursuit. It's essentially a base model on the inside but with the 5.7 and AWD. It's cool, but I wouldn't say "hot". Even though it's 4 doors, its still a little small for car seats.

So I'm looking at a Rebel for the wife and kids. We all make sacrifices I guess :33:

20160909_163633.jpg 20180408_142950.jpg I ordered a 2015 Charger SRT 392 and love this car. But I really wanted a truck too. So when I paid the car off in April I bought a used 2014 Ram R/T. The previous buyer did the 2/4 drop, swapped wheels, changed out the grill and put the stripes on it. I agree that the 392 has way more power than you can use on the street. Of course going to work and being sideways most of the time is too much fun. I went through two sets of tires in 18K miles on my car. :)

so you still have the SRT? I just bought some 20x11 wheels for my Charger and plan on running 315's in the rear

2015 B5 Blue RT Charger to 2017 1500 Laramie. Miss the looks and the fun of the Charger, but have done so much more to my truck already to make it 'mine', not to mention the ability to take my family anywhere without fret of not having enough space, and my fiancee saying she feels like our daughter is more protected, works for me. The truck is my favorite vehicle I have owned. I will buy a B5 Blue Hellcat in the future, today is just not that day.

Yes I still have my charger. I just couldn't get rid of it. I have thought about trading it and the truck in on a Hellcat but I can't justify the money since I can't use the power I already have on the street.
