Trailer Camera - 2025 1500 Rebel

I recently bought a 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel. The dealer/parts/service people have no idea how to answer my question. I don't understand why employees aren't educated on the parts/accessories/options they offer to their customers. I am trying to find a camera option for this coax port that was included with my truck. The 12 pin I determined goes to a 360 trailer camera kit, but that is overkill. The only info I can find on anything related to trailer cameras are on the HD forums. I am looking for a factory fit option...I have already come up with an alternate option/modification that may or may not work (waiting on delivery), but I would rather have an OEM option. I bought new a 2024 Ram 2500 out of state which has that “coax” connector (left of the license plate) which supposedly accept the trailer rear view camera which displays on the Digital Rear View Mirror in the cockpit.
The selling dealer shipped the camera to me (Kit PN: 68686112AA).
I installed it according to the instrcutions but IT DOESN’T WORK.

Called the dealer who told me to take the truck to a local RAM dealer who will “Flash” the VIN with the sales-code that will enable the camera.

BUT..it didn’t work… THERE IS NOTHING CONNECTED TO THE Rear-Bumper COAX-connector. The vehicle harness is “missing’ a jumper or similar.

This has become a real puzzle…because the local Ram Dealer says that camera kit is intended for a CAB/Chassis 3500 or 4500. No info found by the local Ram dealer on what jumper or otherwise how to enable this truck to see that camera.

Problem solved: Dropped the spare tire and found the un-connected harness hidden behind another harness. Plugged it into the bumper receptacle (dock) and the camera immediately displays on the rear veiw mirror (DVRM)
I guess Happy Hour at the Saltillo Cantinas was about to end and the assembly-line worker was too pressed-for-time to hook it up that day.

There was no separate harness I’m aware-of… it was incorporated as a 6”-stub off of the larger group of plastic-conduit maint-harness routed from the cab, along the left-side frame-rail…and left un-connected and stuffed behind the rest of that harness above/behind the spare tire.
