Good vid, we knew from day one it was supposed to be a disposable transmission. It is incredible video but I think Rick is going to blow a fuse :)

.
I have done my part to help my trans, PPE pan and fluid change, Jesse's mod. I gained these maintanence guidance from Rick's posts. As I have said before, this forum has so much info. 95%+ of truck owners have never heard of any maintanence for their trucks, the dealers say nothing. So they just drive. Forums have the folks that want to get the most out of their investments.

Wonderful.

The best part, I thought I would check around and find out what replacement cost was for a new one in Canada and nobody seems to have one.

Every Mopar website lists them as "Currently Unavailable" and no pricing I could see.

So you are looking at used or going directly to the dealer, if they can even get them.

Thankfully my transmission is alive and well. I'm just doing the maintenance mentioned above on it.

A tad off line question, the standard PPE pan, not the deep one, how much extra fluid does it take over a stock pan? Is it 1.8 quarts for the standard pan and 2 for the deep? I have the standard one.
