Transmission Heater

Well after dealing with warranty and the dealership, they let me pay a deductible for this "non warrantied" part. I'm not exactly sure how they changed their minds, but $100 is alot better than $900!!!
Hopefully the new heater has the upgraded tubes.

I'm not sure it comes with new tubes,make sure you ask to see the old ones if they told you they replaced the tubes.

I hope it does, they don't want to see me anytime soon I'm sure. Lol
4 recalls fixed as well, but sucked to be truckless for a week.

The whole "powertrain only covers internal lubricated parts" is complete $tealership B.S. The powertrain warranty, right in the manual, states it covers many other parts that are not "lubricated". This same dealership would probably also be one of the ones to tell you that broken manifold bolts/warped manifolds are not covered, when it clearly lists them in the FCA powertrain warranty.

That being said, I bet they won't cover the heater for the tranny fluid, just like they wouldn't cover the radiator, as part of the Powertrain warranty. I am glad they threw you a bone with the deductible only.

From a FCA manual on the powertrain warranty:

The Powertrain Limited Warranty covers these parts and components of your vehicle’s powertrain supplied by Chrysler Group LLC:
