I just installed an undercover flex tonneau. All is well however, I was wondering for those who have installed the included water drain hoses where did you route them? I have a hole close to that area but cannot verify that water will drain. The hole seems like it would mate up with the bed stake hole. I really am not a fan of routing a water drain there nor drilling a hole in the bed. Ideas or experiences? I have also considered simply plugging the drains all together.

BTW this cover is similar to a backflip but i don't know if they have a water channel.

The tubes go down from the front corners, right? That cover is nearly identical to my BakFlip like you said, so I believe that part is the same too.

There's a few places you can go. There's caps on the holes in the bed you can pop out to route the hoses. If you have a spray-in bedliner and they didn't mask them or take them out when spraying, you might have a hard time digging them out.

The best choices based on where the hoses come from is either the ones on the front wall of the box or on the side near the cargo tie downs. I used the latter for mine.

I temporarily routed the hoses in the side holes. The hole i used is higher than the tie down hooks. I cannot seem to tell where the water will run out.

The caps on the front of the bed will allow water to directly run out without running somewhere between the body panels like what seems to happen using the tie down holes?

Wondering if anyone has simply plugged the holes and let the water run out the back. Doing this could be a problem for cold environments but I live in Georgia.

The sides of the bed are open underneath. If you climb underneath you can see where the hoses are coming out. Just make sure they're angled down so the water runs straight down.

The ones on the front open up to the space between the cab and the box.

Great! I'll take a second look today as it is now light outside.
