Picked up up a nice 2016 Ram Bighorn to replace the 99 Cummins that was rear ended. Already have the Opt7 rear light bar coming.
Question is this, has anybody ever tested the various aftermarket brands to see which is the actual brightest? Like actually using a Lux meter?
Spyder seems popular amongst aftermarket LED taillights, anything definitely brighter out there?
I’m thinking stay away from anything tinted or smoked so no lawyer can claim the tinting was what caused the accident.
I’ve added hi count LED Grote turn signals/brake lights to all our straight trucks and grain trucks, mounted em right in the bed so they were eye level, that ended people passing us on the left when we were turning left into our drive. I’m even thinking of adding a OPT7 light bar to the back of one of my trailers as the stock lights are low and it has no back up lights.
