USB port

Anyone have this issue? My USB port i use for my phone / android auto occasionally will not recognize the phone. The next day it works as it should. WTH??

Have you seen this issue with other devices?

Is it a compatible device?

Sounds on the surface like a device issue as opposed to the truck.

Try different cables, different devices, etc.

yeah....tried different cable, the phone is compatible, the USB works most of the time. Just on occasion it will not read anything i have connected.

Has the phone been updated ? Is the socket for the USB secure ? Maybe a loose /bent pin ? If you do figure it out please update us. So far I have no issue with my I Phone 7 but you never know!

This has happened on occasion with my hard drive I keep connected. Just unplug and plug back in and it starts reading again.

Yeah its hit and miss.....I have also had my Sirius XM not work one day and be fine the next????
