What is everyone running? I was looking at K&N but that seems a bit pricey.

I'm interested in this too. I've seen dyno figures from K&N but no one else, and would love to hear some first hand experiences as to whether this is worth it. Especially in that 70ish MPH range where there seems to be a deadspot in the throttle.

Spectre makes one for the 13/14. For 150. And uses the lower half of the stock filter box. I'm curious if it will fit the 15/16.

I can tell just from the pictures that the fitment will be much better than the K&N.

I was planning on doing the same as yours and just buying the mid pipe from k&n. But for 150 it might be worth it to just buy this set up and see how it fits. I called and asked if it would. They said they didn't know, because Dodge might have changed something or other. But it appears to be the same to me.

It looks the same to me as well. A member on the other forum posted pictures of his 2015 engine bay for me. It looked identical and I told him it should fit.

I had a 15 then it was totalled. Now I have a 16. They made minor changes halfway through 2015. But in not sure if they changed anything in the engine bay. They only change I've seen is under on the chassis.

Yes. I saw your thread. That would be ideal. Where did you get the parts? I just want to get rid of the big plastic mess on top.

Remember your routing (v6) will be different than his (v8) so the exact plumbing won't work...

Yea. I know. That's going to be the biggest problem is getting that funky angle back to the filter box.

I'm wondering if it would be easier to follow the route of the original resonator, a u shaped coupler coming out of the throttle-body that connects to a short run which is connected to a 90 degree coupler leading to the air box/filter?

Airaid makes a universal pipe for 100. Might be worth it.

The U bend might be a good route, but I'd be worried about the weight of the pipe over the engine without something to prop it up to keep it from hitting the engine.

Looking at that diagram, I think you could definitely make it work. You'll of course need to post a DIY with pictures. You are coming closer to the cost of the ready to go K&N part, but this could be a nice option...

...and I think you could ditch the over the manifold option I mentioned earlier and use this to mimic the shape of the K&N.

Sorry should have mentioned plum if will be different, I was posting that as an idea! The air raid kit is super expensive! I went to lowes to get my parts!
A good shopping list for you would be get 4 feet of abs piping, like 8$ each! I personally would look at your intake, and see what angels you may need to make and buy the couplers you'll need! All your couplers will need to be the rubber couplers, and my lowes had all sorts of angels!
Follow my post for hooking up your sensors!
