Wondering if someone can tell me the length of the coupler on the Vararam intake? I'm adding a 1.5" BL this weekend and want to order a longer one on Amazon if possible while I'm out here in the field. Thanks for the help.

The coupler on the 2013+ kits is 4.5" tall. You would need a 5.75" tall coupler to make the intake seal to the hood properly with the body lift installed.

Local907ryder has a small body lift and found a taller coupler you should PM him and ask what he went with.

I'm 2wd no body lift .the front is really close but it leans to the back which puts the gap at the back (towards the cab).

I found a website you can order from. They offer different colors too. But it's not cheep. I just ordered a one foot, 3.5 in red hose from them and total was like $75.00. I have to replace mine cause I took it off and the hose "magically" disappeared. Now I know the length I need (4.5 inches) I won't need the rest so if anyone wants to pm me I'll be happy to sell the rest or something. Also after hours of searching this was the best I could find with longer lengths. The website is www.pegasusautoracing.com I hope this will help out!

Shane, try mounting the coupler on the throttle body first, and then drop the airbox down and have someone hold it in place while you tighten the clamps. The 5.5" coupler that comes with the 2013+ kits should be plenty long enough.

Would kind of defeat the purpose of a cold air. if its not sealing at just the rear than that's not going to be as bad as someone with a body lift but it sounds like it's just a fitment issue with how the clamps are tightened down on the coupler, TB, & intake. Mess with that and see if you can get it to seal before spending money on a new coupler.

I ended up getting a long section directly from Vararam and since the stock length was 4.5" I cut mine to 6". the hood is harder to shut now but I still don't feel like its sealing properly. ive had it for about 2 months now and I cant see an indent in the hood liner like everyone else sees. how would I go about making sure its sealing properly?

Rub a piece of white chalk on the gasket and shut the hood. Then open and see where the chalk transfer to on the hood.
