Volume controls not adjusting radio volume

I have a 2022 Ram Laramie with the 12 inch screen and only have 2000km on it. The volume controls on the wheel and radio no longer control the radio volume. They are stuck on controlling the navigation volume. How can I get them to control the radio volume again? I have spent almost an hour in the truck looking in the settings. I have had the dealer check and I do have the most up to date programming for my radio.

Yes, but after 4 months of intermittent radio controls working, not working (including the rotary control), screens changing mode, screens freezing for hours at at time, it has not ”fixed” itself. After the dealer has had it 3 times to “download” a fix - and the download does not exist right now.

The dealer is as frustrated with Stellantis Chrysler as we all are. To me it is absolute ******** that this problem has existed for at least a year. There are at least 1000 mobile techs out there that could fix this programming in a week. Stellantis Chrysler refuses to assign the competent resources necessary to fix this.

Do you connect your phone via cable when you get in the truck?

I get similar issues on my 8.4 but noticed it happens when I don't give the system time to boot up when I start the truck and connect my phone. I let it do its thing THEN I connect my phone. Since doing this, I haven't had the issue.

I also have a 2022 and my steering wheel controls quit working intermittently. Sometimes the volume controls, sometimes the channel controls, sometimes both. It has been to the dealer multiple times but always works while there. I was told that there is no fix. They said it needs an uodate that they dont have. ... nice...

I have had multiple electronic gremlins with several intermittent electrical issues. They always work when going to the dealer. I am pretty fed up with them.
