The scoops on the 4th gen sport hood arent big enough to make any noticable difference in performance if you were to open them up. That hood is strictly for looks.

I doubt even with that hood you see any added benefit. The Hemi Ram Air intake pulls all it's air from the bumper inserts.

Matt do you know the measurements between the bolts on the cover, am looking at a HEMI decal and could use the size I will be needing? Thanks TB went in this morning- 10 min to install- will do a 225 mile road trip shortly to see how it acts. Joe

You have a hair under 6" between the bolts that hold the lid on, and the lid is 9" wide.

Thanks Matt, okay just finished initial trip of 220 miles cruising at 65 pgh. No mpg change and throttle response was not throw back in seat, but was there. Once I hit the back roads which were rolling, wow a big difference. Throttle response was much quicker and felt very strong up hill. I was very impressed moving the heavy 2500. I will recheck the gas on my return trip, this week will be city driving will report more as I get it.
I am very pleased waiting on next mod. Get one gang!!
