I just received the orange lid today for my VR (because USPS sux so bad in every way possible) and i cant say how excited i am to get this thing installed in my truck, tomorrow morning 1st thing. Right now it's way to dam cold outside lol! I'll do some before and after pics and videos as well.

I would like to also say that Matt and Moe's are with out a doubt, just absolutely great to deal with. Service A+, communication A+, shipping (very fast) A+, customer service A+, knowledge of product A+, experience A+, even down to conversation A+. HUGE thanks to Matt at Moe's for kicking ass.

Assembly put together!

100% agree.

Read up on how to get the IAT sensor out of the stock tube. That was my biggest and most frustrating thing about the install. I almost broke mine into pieces.

Also try disconnecting the battery before you disconnect the IAT. If you don't there's a chance you'll have a code when you fire up.

I needed a front wing like the sent you. I ended up cutting a notch in mine for better fit.

ok i got some pics but i have a few questions.

I have the wires behind the front panel. any other ideas on where to put them?

Looking down, this is the horn assembly bracket. Any suggestions on this also?

should i cut to fit ?

this is at most a 2" opening, is that the way it suppose to be?

is the breather is the right location?

seams a little to level

the height measuring from the grille arm braces. seams to high?

i guess end result. after i put the hood down. I disconnected the battery for 2 hours, after installation i connected and drove for over 30 minutes. it sounds louder but im not able to peel a little like i use to. i do feel a difference but not at take off. and now i have this DAMMM tick that it is louder than ever. like way to annoying. please help me in any of this. Im thinking taking it back out and cut the coupler in an angle at the bottom?

Breather looks good to me. Mines the same.

You could loosen the bottom hose clamp, raise the VR up and close the hood and let it dictate where it should be sitting on the TB.

Another trick you could try is "Chalk Line Dust". Put some on the lip all around, close the hood and look for the imprint on the felt to see how it's sitting.

I put the front wires in front of the horn assembly as per instructions. I haven't looked if I'm up against the horn bracket, but I have no stress on the VR. It's free to move around if need be. Cutting it at the locations noted shouldn't really effect it too much. Up to you.

I have no abnormal tick or notice any getting louder.

I have the top of the coupler all the way at the top of the opening on the bottom of the VR so their isant anymore room unless I cut it in an angle which I really don't want to do so this is how it looks now

That's just the normal results from catch cans in the winter.

It's due to condensation, mixes in with the darker stuff and creates that color.

you'll also want to empty it a lot more, fills up fast in winter.

i did some more adjustments last night with the VR so now the coupler doesnt look like that any more, when it was bent in. Im not able to really test it out cause of the snow we are getting here now. after driven for awhile i decided to pop the hood and check to see if anything out of the norm was going on and saw this. Is this a bad thing? should i brush it out or?

The coupler was not supposed to be crushed, so its good that you got that fixed. As for the snow, that simply shows how well the intake is working to get cold outside air up to the filter. That little bit of snow in the filter is not enough to hurt your motor, but I would just brush it off on occasion just so that it does not block airflow to the filter.

Well I can definitely feel the difference with the VR. I love it! When i open the beast it just takes off, people run back in their houses and day becomes night LOL jking! But...what a difference. I haven’t even installed the Y pipe yet which I had for awhile now in the back seat, which I’m sure makes a little difference also. I have the engine cover off mine at the moment cause I plan on doing some nice paint job on. Maybe that can hide a little of the Hemi engine tick. Here is a small video of the air being sucked in.
