Slightly off topic, but I have seen several mentions of thermostats and poor heater performance. Heater performance is tremendously better, especially during warm-up, by simply turning the heater function knob to the "recirculation" setting. It lets the heater start with cabin temp air instead of the usually much colder outside temp air - the heater core simply doesn't have to heat the air as far. Same in the summer with the A/C. While you may have to toggle the function knob to the regular or defrost settings occasionally, the overall performance is greatly improved.

Your Right and I do use it, but when your old you want the truck to warm up the inside faster. Letting sit and idle for 10-15 minutes to warm up can get expensive when your buying 93 octane fuel from the local sunoco.
