Finally got my spare tire hoist thing back on. Also sprayed fluid film on the underside.

Hauled 900lbs of mulch along with my new 3 ton tripod hoist stand, used the truck to work on the property, then used him to play on the property lol ended up with some mud slicks and studded tires [emoji23]

Well my local pick a part was having a 40% off sale on parts so i went and picked me up this tailgate for $50

Then did a debadge and claybar to get it nice and clean...



Yes i did a debadge using heat and a wedge tool instead of the eraser wheel, this takes longer but less mess to clean up in the garage

And then since the top of the tailgate has a dent in it and its a little bit roughed up, I just so happen to have a bran new oem tailgate spoiler laying around, so i drilled the holes and mounted it all up, covered up the damage nicely...

The plans for this tailgate are for it to be my new test panel, im going to plasti-dip it black and use it to practice up on my air brushing skills, i have been wanting to learn how to do better custom work and what better time to start than now?

Against everybody’s better judgement, I installed my new Spyder headlights that my brother got me for the holidays. When I installed them, I hardwired the LED halos and LED dot lights into the accessories for DRL...the truck never had those before. When properly aligned, they put out some good light. And I think they look pretty badass.

And I put some LEDs in the fogs, reverse, and cargo.

Looks good man, those arent the worst, but there are better options, ive had a few of those before, they are much better with HIDs for sure!

Im definitely a fan of a debadged tailgate myself, but, i like mine really smooth [emoji6]



Ill assume thats an aftermarket tailgate, hows the fit and finish of it, does it feel as heavy duty as OEM?

Yes it's an aftermarket Taiwan special, it fit really well in my opinion. Finish was good. Not as heavy as original. We will see how it holds up, I am happy though. Got the spoiler thing on today also.

Now thinking of debadging the rest of the truck??

Maybe just keep the Hemi one

Wow yours Looks really nice! Was so much easier to wax with out the bling...I really like my 5.7 Badge though so that is staying (for now) I need to put an inlay in it.

Owned this truck for 8.5 years and just today finally figured out what lift kit is in it. Old discontinued ProComp K2057BMX. Just happened to stumble upon a picture of the kit during a search. Yet to find any instructions for it online anywhere.

Saturday I'm replacing power steering rack that is leaking bad. This is going to be fun as it is modified for the lift.

(Tried) pulling some in a little car out of a ditch yesterday. He dug himself 4 nice pits to put his tires in so my 2wd couldn't move em too much before my wheels spun. My uncle whose also a county deputy happened to be on duty that night so his Hemi 4wd fuzz-truck got em out

Finally bought and installed Dee Zee Tailgate thing..why did I wait so long to do that!!

I got one for Christmas, such a nice little upgrade. Just make sure you keep an eye out on the barrel that clips to the cable when closing the gate. If it gets your tail light it will crack, chip, or break the lens.
