Dropped it off at the dealership today so they can diagnose my pop/clunk sound.

Finally got to replacing the A/C compressor clutch bearing. The compressor has to be original because a piece of metal broke off when I went in for the snap ring (Big PITA) Also it looks like the mounting piece is rusting out. I thought it was just painted red until I felt the rust in there lol

In the end the deafening noise is still there. I figure a 13 year old compressor needs to be swapped out anyways

Some minor things: New Air Filter, wiped the windows down, and did some epoxy repairs on the ceiling console piece. Letting it cure for 24hrs so hopefully when I push the little plastic lamps in, the switches don't flop around.

Also planned out my next 5-6 projects. Lots of suspension work in the future...

$5 says its the sway bar end-links, very common fail point, sounds terrible but doesn't hurt anything

Had already tried it. Did not fix the problem. It actually ended up being brake pad anti rattle clips. I was shocked that they would cause a clunk that loud, glad it is finally fixed though

Stupid me did not realize my second 5 year powertrain warranty inspection was coming up when I had the truck at the dealership last week.
Glad I remembered it before it expires

I went on a 1300 mile round trip. I noticed that my washer fluid isn't coming out when I pressed the button and I am not sure why yet, sure needed it during the snow areas.

I have same issue with fluid barely spraying to the windshield on driver side. I've tried compressed air trying to clear it, flushing the lines, and still only help very little.

Somewhere during the ride there the cluster said LoWASH and sure enough it was empty. I had been using it on the trip.
On the way back, it started to snow so I picked up some windshield fluid with de-icer. Filled the tank and nothing came out of the nozzles. I pulled the hose off the pump and gave it a try, nothing still so either its a power issue or the pump is broke/plugged.

I'd recommend replacing the spray nozzles.

I dropped it off at the dealer for the 2nd lifetime powertrain inspection last night. Just received a call that it passed and is ready for pickup.
I have a question for some of you that might know more about it. Don’t see the need to start a thread.
We bought the truck 11/01/08, and in the contract terms it states it has to be within 60 days of the “in service date(11-01-08) every 5 years of the warranty - so to me, this would mean the truck has to get inspected by January 1st give or take a day or so. Correct?
The dealer told me I had to get it inspected by the end of February for the warranty to stay. Did they change the rule on the 60 day period?? Cause 11-01 to Feb 28th is way over 60 days lol

Replaced the belt today, pretty easy to see it was the original belt due to all the cracks in the ribs. Dang thing held up well for 140k miles

Off-topic, was looking up how to disable the ear-splitting seat belt chime in my sisters honda civic. To say the least, I’m glad this place actually has helpful people and civil talk, rather than what I saw today on some honda forums lol

Restored bumpers and other trim pieces last night. Got my new front brake rotors and pads in yesterday as well, hoping to get them put on this week if the weather isn’t too bad. Also discovered yesterday the idiots at the dealership forgot to put my power steering fluid reservoir cap back on. They are lucky it was still on the battery. Can’t trust the monkeys at the dealership to do anything right
