Got pretty pissed off at it yesterday.

So, we had temperature changes the last 2 days. Below freezing temps and now the TPMS seem to be all whacky!
It's saying that my passenger side tires, both front and rear, need to be filled to 39psi., but according to the diagram in the instrument cluster, they are ALL below 39psi.??? I'm going to drive around a little bit and get gas and see if that helps by warming them up. If not, I'll try putting some air in while at the gas station.

I’m guessing that you have just normal air in your tires. I found out quickly after buying my truck that when the tires are cold during winter I got a lot of low pressure messages until I drove the truck and warmed up the tires. I went to my local tire shop and had the bleed out all the air from the tires and then refill them with nitrogen. Since doing that I don’t get the low pressure readings from the tires. I also haven’t had to top off the air in the tires fir the life of the tires. The last set of tires I wore out before they needed anymore air.

I've been trying out a bunch of different suspension parts for a friend (full disclosure I have zero financial or business relationship and don't mix money with friendship as a rule, he runs a 4x4 outfitter that's been successful supplying upgrades for a different platform and wants to branch out to support Rams too) and I'm getting ready to put my Bilsteins back on now that I'm done testing the latest round - well I wasn't gonna put them back on all dirty!

What speakers did you use? I used JBL’s Club series when I did mine. Do you have an aftermarket head unit or the stock one?
Alpine head unit. Kicker’s in the dash, MTX in the doors. Will probably be making another swap with the MTX speakers. Not impressed with the sound compared to the stock 6x9’s. The Kickers sound great, so I might go with Kicker all around

Man which MTX did you get? The red ones or the big ones? I have the red cheapies in my Jeep and they are ok, for the 40 bucks a pair they were on ebay but I did the better MTX speakers in my Ram five years ago and they're awesome

Pretty normal when the temperature varies greatly. Last week we had 80 degree weather and TPMS said 38 all around. This weak 50s and they are down to 34 cold.

The drivers side may not be below the trigger PSI to turn the warning on for those to be aired up. What are the drivers side reading?
I think they are reading 33/34psi.
One of the warnings came off on the way to the gas station. Now I just have the one warning on.

Yeah, that's true about the temperature changes. Happens every year.
While driving to get gas and check the tire psi., one of the warnings came off. Now I just have one of them on, which may go away the more I drive it.
Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

Mine did the exact same thing yes. I left for work, first cold morning 36 degrees, had one at 32 & 3 at 37. Asked our mechanic to bring his truck around to fill but he got busy so I ended up going to 3 different places to get air. Wawa has free air but had 8 cars waiting & pump seems weak, found a gas station that had a coin operated pump, got my analog gauge set all to 39 figured I was all set drove away truck read 2 at 38 & 2 at 37 with light still on. Got off late no change left found another that took a card ended up taking a hour of time & have 1 at 40, 2 at 41 & 1 at 42 but at least the light cleared!

Once you trip the low psi threshold you need to pump them up to 39 psi or more for the light to go off. If you pump less then you need to put some heat on the tires driving around town or fwy until the tpms can register at least 39 psi..
I have a a little Viaair 88p compressor to fill my tires up after doing offroad. It'll work very fast for you guys filling up 5-6 psi more. No more waiting for somebody to fill your tires up :) $72 from Amazon right now.

I changed the oem muffler with the carven progressive and they were even before i changed them. When i put the pipes up the left one was never the same. I mustve done something wrong but the hangers look all good to me. I may have to take it to a "pro"

If I remember right there’s a locating tab on that side that needs ground off the pipe to slide into the carven muffler completely.

I removed my front chrome plated bumper for pasti-dipping and reinstalled my RAM 1500 badges after painting them flat black...

Do you have any pics? I’m planning on doing this myself. Is it just four bolts and removing the sensors for the front bumper? Thanks

It would probably be best to stick with the same brand for all six speakers. When I switched to my JBL’s the were a major improvement over the stock ones. They made my oem head unit sound good. When I swapped out the oem head unit for a good pioneer one the sound was even better.

I’ll be switching to kicker all around. My dad has a 3rd Gen Ram. I’m sure he’ll make use of these MTX speakers

Yea i remember that tab when taking the oem off. I lost it somewhere, but that doesnt change the position of the pipes

I meant there’s a tab that sticks up on the tail pipe. It limits how far the tail pipe will slide into the muffler hence the reason the one side sticks out further.

I kinda figured I need to go above 39psi. I did not though. I will probably stop by again maybe tomorrow after work.
What a pain in the ass. lol
Thanks guys!

Very true, but then you have to worry about which stations carry nitrogen. Not a lot in my area. Only one station that I know of.
Once you use nitrogen, you cannot use air in the same tire, correct?

What PSI are you all supposed to have? My 2014 Express states 34 psi cold all around...

39 psi is factory min. Don't know if RAM recommended less pressure perhaps on trucks that came equipped with the 17" wheels/tires ? or it be me possible if you bought the truck used that somebody changed the TPMS thresholds before you. i think if i remember correctly the trigger is 6-7 psi below your TPMS min threshold so tipically with 39 psi min the light in the dash will be triggered if the psi came below 33 or 32 psi, and it'll tell you to pump to 39 psi. in your case if it says fill it up to 34 then your low light is prob coming at 27-28PSI ? I have mine set at 32 psi, so i can go as low as 25 psi before the light gets tripped and i only need to pump 32 psi before the notification/light goes away.
