What to look for on a bad 65RFE valve body

Fluid was around 60$ for all of it combined, VB was 500$, SP is 158$, and around 50 for Wix filters.

So around 768$.

I forgot to mention this, I disconnected the battery for around 2 hours and started the truck back up. It didn’t jerk going through the gears, and it shifted fine into 2nd with barely any jerking and then after a few minutes it started to harsh shift again. Is this more conclusive evidence of a bad SP?

Also, there’s a card in bike rim sound when putting it into gear, i don’t know if that has to do with anything. Did it previously too.

You bought the VB and SP from the same dude, I think you should get a refund for the solenoid, if not give him a bad mark. Give him a chance to make it right.

I just sent another message asking if the vb was supposed to include a sp, and if so to send one and refund me for the one i just purchased, so we’ll see what happens.

I have good news regarding the broken valve body bolt.
Looks like i’ll just be able to take a pair of vise grips to the remaining bolt in the trans, that is a relief.

@Burla, I got codes P0845 and P0934 now.

I cleared the codes and reseated the battery connector and put more fluid in, and the P0845 code (knock on wood) cleared itself.
Maybe the line pressure sensor that broke earlier is broken again? That would explain everything!

Edit: P0845 is back.

Second Edit: I just read that it’s possibly the pressure sensor in the solenoid pack. Guess it’s still bad.

I always thought the grey connector SP is the updated one?

Those codes you're popping are now usually from a bad solenoid pack from what I've read about them.....

You new VB and Old SP is in the truck right now? I'd just stop driving it or playing til I got the new SP in there. Bad deal if your new SP fixes everything when it should have been on there in the first place. You don't want to abuse that new VB, you have no idea how much pressure or lack of is driving it right now. Shut it down.

I got a message from the eBay seller saying it was supposed to come with a SP and i’m waiting for him to reply because i think he’s gonna send another one.
