That looks like a lot of weight in front of the trailer wheels. What is the tongue weight in that set up.

Our 2015 Ram 1500 Crew Cab 4x4 with EcoDiesel V-6 engine tows a 7500 lb, 27-foot travel trailer quite nicely... Even in the mountains. We did a trip from Spokane, WA to S. Dakota and Mt Rushmore last summer. 60-65 MPH all the way on I-90 and excellent fuel mileage.

I did that same thing back in the late 80's using my 1982 Dodge Ram, 225 slant six, 5 sp. manual.

5000# trailer with 3500# beams. Wound up rebuilding all brakes on the vehicle after tow. I know where the limit is now..lol.

I don't think you have lots of these ones in the States? Here in Europe they are quite "normal" 10" wheels. 195/55-10" rubber and total weight of the trailer with max load is 3 metric tons (biggest ones is 3.5ton because that´s the limit for our normal drivers license). load weight capacity is 2.450kg or 2.45 Metric tons. This one also has rigid Aluminium floor. Just fixed the lights on it so all lights and wires where replaced

20 x 8.5 (5 1/2' Deep V-nose) - 10k rated enclosed trailer with front and rear ramp doors. Was probably around 7-8k lbs in these pictures.

Just towed my 29ft travel trailer across Canada from Eastern Ontario to Vancouver Island with my 2017 1500 Sport. Trailer dry weight is 4900lbs and maxes out at 6900lbs, but it was probably closer to 6000 for the trip. Used WDH and sway control the entire time.

Pulled fairly well through the Rockies, and averaged 23 L/100km (10.2 mpg) for the trip there and back.

This was mostly on 87 fuel.. I started the trip with 89 and 91 and noticed no difference in power or fuel economy when one station had no higher octane fuel, so for the last 3/4 of the trip I only used 87.

Well, unfortunately it is the last thing I got to tow with it as she just got totaled about 2 weeks ago. Apex Nano, 24ft and about 7k lbs dry. Will be towing the same camper next month but with the new rig I just picked up this weekend..

Just my boat so far, about 1800lbs total weight by my estimate. The truck barely felt it, got about 18mpg average from Manitowoc WI to somewhere in the up and back. It'll end up towing my car at some point though, I'm sure!
