Post up your best MPG. List cab size, 2 or 4x4, and motor. Take a pic of the screen that lists time distance and mpg. Let's keep this clean by only posting those that have more miles in the trip than mpg. I'll start.

2018 ram Express 4x4 CC hemi.

my trip B is the same mileage as the total miles of my truck.
2017 express 4WD QC - 5.7 - 8k miles total, 80% city/20% highway
17.8 mpg overall with edge pulsar and a mufflex18
for comparison:
my wife's journey FWD V6 pentastar 102k - 20.5 mpg

I've had some crazy high short trip MPG numbers like that if I reset the average MPG on my Pentastar powered Ram 1500.

Tank to tank I average 19-20mpg in the witer and ~23mpg in the summer. If I don't reset the readout for avg MPG, it gets very accurate. Pretty much right on with what I hand calculate.

I think what every one is missing here is this isn't just reset and coast down a hill. This is over 40+ miles and I've repeated every day for the last week. The best thing to do instead of bash and say it can't be done is go out to your truck reset it and drive for mileage otherwise no need for a comment.

Not saying you but for some to say it's not possible just because normal behavior doesn't get it doesn't mean it's not possible. You can even see in my post I averaged 62mph to show that is on a highway

I wasn't bashing either! It is cool to see some shorter trip readouts, but they are pretty meaningless.

The only thing in terms of MPGs that matters is how many miles you manage to get out of an entire fillup of fuel. You are not getting 26mpg over a whole tank.

I work with Chevy guys with their spotless pretty Silverados that never haul anything but air say all the time they get mid 20s. When I ask them what they get over a whole tank they never know.

I would do it for a tank but I don't have the patience to drive like that every day maybe i will though

Take whatever that EVIC says and multiply it by .9, and you’ll be pretty close.

Lately, I’ve been driving like gas is free. That’s a whole lot more satisfying than squeezing s nickel until the buffalo poops.

I have 1600 miles on my '19 classic with the 3.6 Pentastar and I am averaging between 15 to 16 (80% city / 20% Hwy). Course its almost always in 4WD, below 0 degrees and I drive it like I stole it....
Those numbers are real though (hand calc) and I am hoping once warmer weather hits and I stop giggling every time I go through a snow drift it will get better.

You need to contact FCA so they can reverse engineer that 30 mpg miracle truck. I think you’re sitting on a million dollars.
Haha I wish. We can call it possibly perfect conditions? I will admit this isn't normal this I paying very very close attention to the meter and adjusting and trying to keep it as high as possible for as long as possible.
