I know this has been discussed at great length. I'm looking to upgrade my entire system. This means all door speakers, whatever dash speakers, and head unit. I would also like an amp, sub (or two), headrest screens with dvd player and wireless headphones for the kiddos. I have absolutely no idea when it comes to audio so I need lots of help here! I don't even know where to begin. I have read about guys doing custom tweeter mounts, but I don't even know what tweeters do. Oh and while doing all of this I will be replacing the carpet so I'll be laying the dynomat down too.

I have a standard cab, and it cost me $1400 for 4 pioneer speakers (2 doors and 2 b pillars) and a single shallow mount 10" sub, a 1600watt amp, a single din headunit, and all wiring and installation. I like pioneer very nice for what I was looking for which was not a competition stereo

I have a quad cab, kenwood single din headunit, 2 kicker cvt subs, and a 900 watt rms amp, and in the front two kenwood 6X9's and the back 2 sony 6" speakers and I am in about $700-$800 but I installed my own speakers, and sub and amps myself.

ive got a custom ported fiberglass rear seat console box with carpet sides, felt top, neon trim with 2 12” JL audio W3s, 2 JL 3-way 6x9s in front doors, 2 Infiniti reference 6.5s in rear doors, kicker amp with Bluetooth bass knob for subs, KENWOOD amp for mids and highs, $1000 KENWOOD double-din with Navi and Apple CarPlay, and a screen in each headrest with 1 DVD player running to them both. I would say I’ve spent atleast 5 grand. And I’ve got all that in my Dodge Ram 3500 Tow truck. Lol
